New Holland Mouse (Pseudomys novaehollandiae).
Drawn using Faber-Castell Polychromos coloured pencil.
This threatened native mouse is now only found in isolated populations in south eastern Australia and many of these populations have experienced a dramatic decline in numbers. I have a personal love of this species as I have been involved with monitoring a population in central Gippsland in Victoria for several years now.
