The Koala (Phascolarctos cinereus) is a familiar arboreal marsupial of eastern Australia. In many parts of its range it is considered threatened due to a wide range of reasons such as habitat loss/fragmentation, disease, vehicle collisions and animal attacks. This was photographed in Victoria’s Bass Coast region.
